Amanda Fisher, PT, DPT and Alyssa Zoller, PT, DPT
Amanda Fisher, PT, DPT is a Physical Therapist at Empower Your Pelvis in Lee Summit, MO. She earned her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Missouri and attended Rockhurst University for her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. She helps treat women and men who experience pelvic floor dysfunction and pregnancy and postpartum dysfunction. Her desire to learn more about the pelvic floor began when she started experiencing pelvic floor pain and dysfunction personally and deep dived into this field by treating herself with muscle strengthening and coordination. Her goal is to share this information to other women in order to improve their pelvic health so they can improve their health, fitness, and even relationships.
Christy McClain, MSPT, CAFS, IASTM and Scott Jones, MSPT, MDT, CAFS, CSCS
Christy McClain is a Partner, Regional Director for twelve clinics and Physical Therapist for ARC Physical Therapy+. As a Partner, I’m responsible for managing the company's daily operations. As a Regional Director, I'm responsible for oversight and management of the twelve clinics operations. Background includes over 20 years of clinic experience including two decades at a workers’ compensation clinic, and nearly 15 years of management experience. She joined the ARC Physical Therapy+ team as a Clinic Director, and took the roll of Regional Director in 2018. Licensed in Missouri, Kansas, and California, and is certified in IASTM, Ergo Science, CAFS and XRTS. My skills include Outpatient Orthopedics, Spine, Prevention, Inpatient Rehab, and Acute Care. Graduated from Rockhurst University in 2000.
Scott Jones is a Partner and the Director of Clinical Support Services at ARC Physical Therapy+. In his role, he is focused on quality: ensuring patients receive the best care available, that the clinics are staffed with the best clinicians, and that the partners have confidence in the workers’ compensation program. He joined ARC Physical Therapy+ in 2005 and has served as a Physical Therapist, Clinic Director, and the Kansas Regional Director. Licensed in Missouri and Kansas, and is certified in MDT, CAFS, CSCS, and XRTS. Graduated from Wichita State University in 2000.

Jennifer Caswell, PT, DPT
Jennifer Caswell, PT, DPT graduated with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Kansas Medical Center in 2002 and received her Clinical Doctorate from Evidence in Motion in 2016. Prior to attending the University of Kansas Medical Center, she was a Physical Therapist Assistant and practiced in home health and inpatient rehabilitation before completing her master’s degree. Since obtaining her graduate degree, she has practiced in the hospital setting, covering acute care, skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient. She opened her outpatient PT clinic in 2007, CORE Strategies Physical Therapy. She is currently the co-owner of CORE Strategies managing the day-to-day operations and continuing to practice clinically. She has held various leadership positions including the Federal Affairs Liaison for the APTA for Kansas Physical Therapists and Board member for the Kansas Physical Therapy Association and Medical Group Management Association of Greater Kansas City (MGMA-GKC). Currently, she is the Legislative Chair for the Kansas Physical Therapy Association. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1997. She has been an adjunct instructor since 2016 for St. Mary’s University in Leavenworth, KS and Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO.
Aimee Riegel, PT, DPT
Dr. Aimee Riegel, PT, DPT is a graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Exercise Science. She attended the University of Kansas Medical Center Physical Therapy program where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2007. She has practiced outpatient orthopedics her entire career, spending 6 years in Northeastern Kansas, where she served as the director of a small outpatient clinic prior to relocating to western Kansas in 2013.
Aimee founded FIT PT and Wellness, LLC in September 2019, a cash-based concierge practice, which she expanded to include a Fitness and Yoga Studio in October 2020. She provides services to clients in her fitness studio as well as in their homes. Aimee has a passion for helping adults stay active through their lifespan with an emphasis on health and wellness. Aimee specializes in Functional Dry Needling and is a level 2 Dry Needling practitioner. Aimee also teaches virtual and in person individual and group fitness programming, as well as offers specialty fitness and health workshops both locally and on a national level to increase awareness of health and wellness for all ages.
Aside from the clinic, Aimee devotes her time to her profession by serving on the Board of Directors for APTA Kansas. She currently serves as the Vice President of APTA Kansas. She previously served as the Payment Committee Chair from 2014 through 2019. Aimee has provided education on Defensible Documentation at various state conferences and launched the first webinar on the APTA Kansas Website. Aimee was awarded the APTA Emerging Leader award in 2017. She also founded and serves as executive director of a non-profit organization, Lovegrass Music Festival Association, which funds a very successful annual free music festival in North Central Kansas as well as other music events throughout the year.
Aimee is a native of Pawnee Rock, Kansas where she grew up on the family farm, attending Great Bend High School. She and her husband, Jason, spent 12 years in Lawrence before moving back to western Kansas to raise their two sons, Jonah and Jude. In her free time Aimee and her family enjoy playing bluegrass and performing in their band, 80 Proof Alice, camping, kayaking, hiking, shooting sports and attending concerts and sporting events.

Danny Larson, PT, DPT, ATC, CSCS
Danny Larson completed his B.S. in Athletic Training at South Dakota State University and Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Des Moines University. Following this, he completed Sports Residency training at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He currently works in Lawrence, KS at OrthoKansas/Lawrence Memorial Hospital (LMH) treating patients, leading department research efforts, and serving as the organization’s sports residency coordinator. In addition, he serves as adjunct faculty for the Tufts University DPT program and is the Programming Chair for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) - Kansas Chapter. He has spoken on several sports PT related topics at the local, state, and national level, and has guest lectured for several local Universities. He was selected as the 2022 recipient of the APTA Kansas Emerging Leader award. His passion includes empowering patients and athletes to take ownership of their health and fitness and combat the “quick fix” mentality.

Do I have to be a KPTA member to attend?
No, you do not have to be a KPTA/APTA member to attend this conference! Although it is held by KPTA student members, it is only encouraged that you consider joining the KPTA! All DPT and PTA students in the Kansas area are invited to attend.
What is the dress code?
Business casual is preferred!
Is there a fee to attend the conference?
The Midwest Student Conclave is completely FREE to attend. The only costs a student might encounter is if they must travel and stay in a hotel.
Is this a conference for both students and PT/A's?
This conference is solely designed for the audience to be students in PT and PTA programs. Licensed PT's and PTA's can attend the Spring and Fall KPTA conferences, which are different than the Midwest Student Conclave.
