What is KPTA SSIG?

This organization is run under the Kansas Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) by the students for the students. The Student Special Interest Group (SSIG) allows PT and PTA students to meet, confer, and promote interests about classes, the KPTA, and APTA.

Objectives:
•Promote the profession of physical therapy and help the Kansas Chapter and the APTA keep our profession moving forward.
•Provide an exchange of information between members concerning the profession of physical therapy.
•Represent the interest of students in official decision-making bodies within the Kansas Chapter.
•Prepare members for future participation and leadership roles within the APTA and the profession.

•Develop leadership skills
•Receive important information about the working of your state chapter and your future as a PT or PTA

*As a member of the APTA you are automatically a member of the
Student Assembly and you have the option become a member of the KPTA. 

As a member of the KPTA you are automatically a member of the SSIG
